Overview
Bijon Imtiaz directs, writes, and produces films that move between Dhaka, Los Angeles, and the festival circuits in between. His work has premiered at Seattle and competed at Venice, and his current slate is developing through Sundance, Berlinale, Cannes' La Fabrique, and Locarno's Open Doors. He is also on faculty at UCLA and Cal State Northridge, where he trains the next generation of directors and producers.

Since 2019, Bijon has taught directing and producing at UCLA, and since 2024 at Cal State Northridge, mentoring students from first idea through festival strategy.
